It says here thats there's one seperate double bedroom , and the 5 berth one can be divided with a zipped curtain . so , I would say No, that its 2 seperate inners , one 5 berth , one 2 berth , and thats also what it shows on the diagram plan . the dotted line indicates a zip, and the gap between the inners shows that they are seperate ones.
Ok, I haven't actually pitched my Vermont XL yet but from memory when we were in Casey's the divider between one of the 2 berth rooms can be unzipped into the 3 berth to make a 5 berth space (this is what we intend to do). The other 2 berth room is a complete pod in it's own right, iyswim.

Hi, the Vermont XL has 2 inners, the large one has a divider which can be unzipped and rolled back to make one large 300cm inner. The other (140cm) inner is totally separate and can be removed if required.
You can always tell if an inner has a removable divider by the indicated dotted line.If the inners are separate they will show a small gap between each one.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to all for the replies , now with the divider for the first two sleeping areas removed do you think that you could fit two double air beds in there.
Dib-Dib-Dib , Mandy will you let me know how long and how hard you find it to pictch the Vermont whenever you do it.
You can fit a double airbed in all three sections of the vermont xl.
We can have the tent up in 30 minutes so i can start organising the inside while my hubby spends another 30 mins to peg and guy out.
Anything else let me know. This will be our third year in our vermont xl and love it. Not found a tent that beats it yet!!!

The only disadvantage is the front sloping door when its raining, but we bought the side canopy so that we can use the side door when its raining.
Otherwise a fab tent. We have entertained 16 people in the tent (not sleeping in it) for our daughters 3rd birthday when it was raining and it served a great purpose!!!
Recommend the carpet if you dont have it well worth the money.
Hi Alison , had a look at your pictures from summer , very impressed it really is a lovely tent (or should that be house) it is big but it just say's quality as soon as you look at it.
I will have one of these for next year , the tent i bought today will do me for this season and then i'll sell it and get the Vermont for next year.
Thanks for the info and help
All the best

It depends where we go as most have a 5m max width but when we get bigger pitches 13 x 13 there is no problem. We tend to use the canopy when we are away for more than a weekend.
