Hi  Just took new tent camping ... Arizona L.... the tent was fine apart from one thing the front of the tent does not seem to have a zip at the bottom so that the wind blue the flap in overnight and stuff got wet. I ended up using clothes pegs to stick the front side tent flap to the ground sheet at the bottom? Apart from one bit of velcro that is in the middle of the tent flap there appears to be no other method of securing the bottom front side of the tent against wind and rain?? Any clues?

you can buy velcro dots or a long strip and do a minor repair job yourself, it's sticky backed so it should be easy to do yourself.

On our Arizona you can peg the flaps outwards so that the rain runs away from the tent.

Having said that, it could be that you have the new 2010 model whch appears to have a SIG throughout, so it may be different.

Absolutely love our Arizona L - all the comforts of a larger tent - good head height, picture window, very light, but in a simple dome.

we have had the same problem, love the tent apart from this.

I was going to somehow get some velcro for it , but i do like the idea of clothes pegs !!

We have the polycotton version of the Arizona L (Andaman Sea L - Outwell don't make it anymore), but have had the same problem.  We feel it's a design fault with them.  It's a shame because we love the tent in every other way.  A simple dome tent, quick and easy to erect, lots of room and great headheight, very comfortable for two people, and looks good .

Like above (B Chrystie) we always peg the flaps outwards, but feel there should be a guyrope in the middle of the front door, just under the window (as the rear of the tent has) and had wondered if we could have this added by a tent repairer.

We also always pitch bum to the wind, which helps enormously, but winds in this country can change direction so quickly!!!

It's only really a problem in gail-force winds, but still love the tent.
