Hi everyone I wonder if you can help?

My mum has been out today and bought a second hand Gelert Michigan tent, this will be her first time camping!

I have no knowledge about the Gelert make so was hoping someone could tell me what they are like as a make of tent and also do you have any experience with the Michigan as I have never seen one.

My mum seems to think that it comes with a sewn in ground sheet but what I have read it dose not, dose anyone know for sure?

A friend of ours has one of these and I can confirm that it does NOT have a sewn in groundsheet, however if I remember rightly it was the ONLY negative point she made about the tent....

Just been over my mums to put this tent up in her garden for a trial run but I have a problem, at what point should I tighten the tension straps??

I have no clue how to do this as all my other tents have never had any and this is the first time I have had to use them.
