I have a Coleman Weather Master L which was bought from Go-Outdoors last year

i now need an extra bedroom but can't seem to find one anywhere - Can anyone help ??

Try giving Outdoor Mega Store a call. They used to sell the Weathermaster L (last year) and had the extra front bedroom pod as an extra (they did not sell it separately), but did to me upon enquiring. It was about £35 - £40 I recall.

But be aware that the pod they sold me was for a green Galileo Weathermaster (the model before the silver Exponent last generation version), and whilst it fits fine there is just one fixing point that is different (at the back I think, which isn't important anyway) and, obviously, the colours don't match.

Worth a shot if you don't mind the colour, but chances are they will be sold out.

Edit: When you have this pod in the tent your living area shrinks to a small corridor the width of one of the doors - not good if you have loads of kit.

You have my sympathies. I assume you got the tent from Pudsey Go Outdoors last year like me? That was the only store I ever saw it at.

I did my homework a bit before buying and I knew it was the end of the line for the Weathermaster models, but this was not an issue to me, and the price was good.

Unfortunately I find the whole tent industry is pretty poor when it comes to "optional extras" and "spares". If the model is current then you probably will be able to get the particular bit your after (carpet, footprint etc), but once a tent goes out of production that's it. When all the stock is sold there will be no more manufactured and it's game over unless you can find someone somewhere that has the bit lying around.

Have you tried Coleman UK? Probably a waste of time, but I'd be interested in what they have to say.

Perhaps you'll just have to take this on the chin and mark it down to experience.

Hi yes got it from pudsey last year, the young spotty lad said i would have no problem getting the extra bedroom, shud off twigged really when they didnt sell them!!  Phoned coleman and they dont make them anymore!! phoned pretty much everything on net to no avail.  Apart from that its a good sturdy tent, but next time i get a tent will defo do homework.
