Hi,

I was hoping somebody would be able to suggest a smaller equivalent spec tent to my 2008 Vango Killington 600.

The Killington has a pitching size of around 8m x 8m and I am struggling to find sites that accept such a large tent. I also don't want to limit myself to having to stay at the small number of campsites that allow big tents.

(It is also far too big for my girlfriend, myself and our dog!).

Could anybody suggest an equivalent spec tent that doesn't have such a large pitch size. My budget is around £200.

I am looking at the Icarus 400 (or 500 for the standing height) but am worried that these are rated as weekend tents (the spec suggests this too) whereas I want something more equivalent to the Killington.

Does anybody have any ideas? (It doesn't have to be Vango btw)

Many thanks

Graeme

Check out the Outwell Hartford L, not sure of the footprint size though.
