Terra-nova, Hilleburg, Lightwave and Crux are all good. Crux are actually the same company as Lightwave.
I have a Crux Storm with which I am very pleased and although I dislike synthetic tents, the Crux provides a surprisingly gracious standard of living.
A three person tent will be too heavy for one peson to carry (assuming you're "backpacking) so you'll need to plan for one person to carry the tent and t'other the poles and pegs.
These tents are all quite expensive so if they're beyond yur budget, there's some suitable tents in the Vango and Vaude ranges.
I use a Terra-Nova LaserLite for backpacking and a Hilleberg Nallo2 GT for cycle camping, both have stood upto some very strong winds, of the two the Hilleberg is my favourite, and would be ideal for backpacking at 2.5Kg the LaserLite is 1Kg!, but only big enough for 1 and a very close friend!.
good quality mountain tents are expensive. Large, good quality mountain tents even more so. nevisport have some nice looking nanok tents on offer - the domus trio would be cosy for 3 but at least has a porch for gear. The expedition wouldn't be out of place on a polar expedition and might be a bit of overkill for your suggested use

The Quasar is 2 up. Saying that though you would struggle to get 3 full size males in my Trango 3.1 without a bit of spooning action. To the OP, make sure you wear strong underpants or a chastity belt at the minimum, or go for a Trango 4 :)
I can second the suggestion of looking at the
Robert Saunders range - not much of a market profile nowadays, but excellent tents. I still love my 20 yo
Spacepacker plus :-)
How importasnt is the actual weight - eg will it be backpacked much, or will it be shorter carries froma car say. What about budget? Lightweight tents can getg expensive.
A price to justify a Superior tent, as I said before, there can be only one. I almost cried when my Mrs bought mine for me. Trust me, high on Denali even the Americans prefer it to the NF VE25s, heap of tangled mess.
Anyway, get a spacepacker plus, leave out the inner. You will need doss bag, bivi bag and a roll mat. I did my ML with 5 of us in mine. Hardly any weight and no stuffy fart smells either. Sorted
