Hello, I have just bought one of these off the dreaded ebay for the kids to use as a pup tent. I have assembled it in the garden and noticed that the taping of the seams is comming away... does this therefore mean that the tent will not be waterproof? or should I just hope that it is?? or should I just wait for rain??? questions questions .............. any ideas?

You need to trim away the tape which is not attached, and then use seam sealer (quite cheap from your local camping shop) and run it down the seams while the tent is erected. Make sure you leave the tent up for 24 hours so that the sealant will dry out thoroughly, otherwise parts of the tent will stick to it if you pack it away too soon.
