Hi, i hope some of you can help!

We have a 2009 Vango Icarus 500 in Ensign/Blue. It's a fab tent and we love it!

In a few weeks we are going off in it again and i have been looking to buy a preium extension for the front. We like the look of it because it has a door so will give more privacy and shelter from the rain (hopefully we wont need it for that reason!) and also more room.

I can't find a supplier anywhere that stocks the 2009 model in those colours, not even vango. If i have to, i'll buy this years model in slightly different colours but an wonderinf if any of you know where i might find one?

I can't find any for sale on the Internet - you could get the 'smoke / ocean' one from this years issue or you could get a black/blue one from ebay (without the door). I've bought an Icarus this year and I've ordered the premium extension because I know rightly that if I held off a year they'd go and change the colours!

One last thing you could try is phone Vango in Glasgow and see do they have last years model in stock or maybe they know of one elsewhere.

I've ordered the premium for my icarus anyway, as my sister got one for her icarus last year and I'm baffled why this year they've excluded that particular tent from the list of compatable canopies! I've seen it attached, I helped put it up, and I sat under it....

I've posted on here before about this issue and this weekend I'll be picking up my premium extension as I'm planning my camping trip within driving distance of the shop I've ordered it in to....so pics will be coming shortly.

have been in touch with Vango who say thet don't have any of last years stock, very crafty !!!!

Yes, it's the one with the door and Vango say it's a generic model so can "fit" on the Icarus, wanted this one as don't really see the point of just the canopy, very open to the elements!

just wanted last years colours but might have to just get near to last years colours, noone will notice hahahaha!
