It's highly unlikely they will bring out an awning that wasn't universal for all bear lakes, they would lose too much of their market (obviously 4 & 6 would need a different awning)

I am pretty sure the new awning will fit early models its just the zip issue. Batch to batch the zips may differ. It would be great to zip the awning on then zip the front canopy onto the awning but we will have to wait and see. I think some retailers will be going to Outwell in the next few weeks, I am not going until early August. Off to vango tomorrow so that should be good.

No mention of an awning (closed front) as yet, which would be more useful!

There will be only a front extension for the BL,no fully enclosed awning I'm afraid.

Makes the Bear Lake into a Wolfie with an extra long porch doesn't it?

Would have been nice to have the front end too as a zip on. Not for me mind our BL4 is plenty big enough as is
