True, never had a cabanon at all, unfortunately.
I take 2 mallets , big heavy ones , so both of us can peg out at once, pitches in half the time that way . and a claw hammer to ge them out again .
I forgot ours once and borrowed one , it was a tiny lihtweight little thing ,took ages to get the pegs in . I had sore arms for days after .

Our old Cabanon Elody (1996)came with a rubber mallet,which we are still using today.

Your question about the blue Outwell pegs being up to it..We find them very strong and they do an excellent job.
If you feel like pushing the boat out you can always get some Delta ground anchors(many members on here swear by them) Delta Ground Anchors
