First ever post. Bought an Horizon 8 over the weekend and did a pratice pitch in the back garden that went very well. Haven't camped for maybe 20 years so was a bit worried, but it went really well. I am very new to the tunnel tent, bendy pole method of camping and my question is simply what am I supposed to do with the ends of the poles?
Do they rest on the ground? Do we wedge them into the ground?
All guidance welcome.
Thanks

There are rings like keyrings , with pins on them attached to the botom of the flysheet. The pins go into the ends of the pole, and you then peg the ring down .

Thanks for replying.
We put the pins in the ends of the poles and then stood the poles on the round bits of the pins which seemed right. And then pegged them down with the black elastic loops, is that right? Just seemed odd to have the poles standing on the round bit of the pins...
