I just love my Weathermaster and normally take a kitchen tent with me, but having checked out reviews on here have bought a mini oven to use with my picnic gas hob instead of taking gas cooker - Mainly because I love the idea of having something like hotpot.
I was wondering if anybody knows of a canopy or porch that fits the Weathermaster, as I fancy trying that for cooking on instead of having the separate kitchen tent. Believe it or not, I'm trying to travel light!!

Probably Vango canopies like the Large Canopy or Premium Extension are good place to start as they appear to have the right size and shape, and are very generic.
I too suffer the Weathermasters lack of an extension (never missed one, until we got our Outwell and now I'm a total "canopy convert"). I can't recall any posts that have ever mentioned a particular canopy to go with the Weathermaster, but could be wrong.
I plan to attach our Outwell Nevada M extension to the Weathermaster by any means necessary (spare guys, bungee cord - I like a good challenge). It wont look pretty, but I'm determined to give it a go the next time we camp in the Coleman - next month fingers crossed.
I hope someone can offer more help than me; but always nice to hear from a fellow owner.
Thanks for the suggestions, I've had a good look at them. I like the site, its even got videos showing you how to pitch them. The premium extension looks good cos it goes right over the top of the tent and doesn't look like you have to hook it onto anything. Just need to check the size.
I've sent Coleman UK an email, cos I've got nowhere to try putting it up apart from the campsite, so don't want to make a mistake.
By the way, I went with a friend to help choose a new tent last year and the guy we spoke to said they'd stop making the Weathermaster, but he'd had so many requests for it that he wished they'd bring it back. It's been a perfect tent for me and the kids - really easy to put up and lots of room.
If and when I get a response from Coleman, I'll post it on here.
You can get the large vango canopy on ebay for £35 delivered. I bought one for my Coleman Evolva just a couple of weeks ago.
If, like the Evolva, the Weathemaster is that nice silver/grey colour the Black/Mercury Vango canopy is a good match as it reverses the colourway of the tent, main fabric black and pole sleeves grey.
Unfortunately, my Weathermaster is that nice murky green colour!!
But I've just had a response from Colemans - their latest model of premium extension would not be suitable, but she said their classic awning would be - so looking into that.
I forgot about the Classic Side Canopy. Would blend in with your green Galileo, but then again so would a Vango (if you can find a greenish one).
I can't say the Coleman Canopy grabs me as it doesn't look all that big, but would serve the purpose of housing the stove you are after. It would probably be the cost that would swing me provided they are both easy to get hold of (which Isn't always the case with some Coleman stuff).
As for the demise of the Weathermaster it is now superseded by the Mackenzie Cabin 4 and 6. They are very similar in design and features, although slightly smaller. Well nice tents, but rather pricey at the moment.
To be honest I think Coleman took a bit of a step backward this year by axing at least three good tents, the Matrix, the Evola (very good concept to this tent indeed) and the trusty Weathermaster, and not replacing them with any worthy successors. Maybe their sales were starting to dwindle, who knows?
I've had a look at the canopy, but I'm not sure it looks like one good gust of wind and it'll be off. It's not exactly what I was looking for, so I may just have to get the kitchen tent out again, but don't relish the thought of paying extra for it.
I really don't mind what colour the porch/extension/canopy is - I'm one of those campers that starts off with good intentions of staying really tidy, but within days our whole area looks like a bombs hit it!!!
Makes you wonder if they ever actually check with campers what tents are best when they get rid of the good ones. I've had a couple of others which turned out to be horrors - too small, poles breaking, nightmare! So when I found my Weathermaster, I was hooked.
Thanks for your help - I have a look at the Vango one
