Hi all

I have inherited an 8 birth tent made by RAGE!  It has no instructions to put it up and as a novice I am unsure where to start with such a large tent.  Can anyone help tell me where I can get instructions to put up the tent.  I have sent an email to the RAGE company as listed on their website - but as yet received no reply!! Any ideas welcome.

Hi. Rage have a number of eight berth tents in their range. Which one is yours? If you don't know the model, do you have a picture of it to describe it to us? Even if we don't have the actual instructions we can probably give you some good ideas on how to pitch it. If you do have a picture, have a look HERE to see if you can identify it. However, I have to warn you that Rage does not have a great reputation for tents - check the reviews - so make sure you pitch it before you go away, and preferably check it does not leak.

If it's a Tromso - the one with the three bedroom pods off a central dome, I may be able to help as we used to have one and I have some pics of it which may help.

I would say before you go away in your tent find some where to pitch it and give it a good soaking to see if it has any leaks 

rage have had some issues with quality and leaking so better to find if it has any problems now rather than on the campsite

Take a can of fabsil with you - we needed it to reproof several leakage points on ours after only one night of rain
