hi all anyone got or had a  Lichfield Vermont 5DL Frame Tent we are going to buy a new one tomorrow, any views would be great.

I would recomend looking on E-Bay we bought one in october for about £80 pounds and it was like new we always look and there are some on there now the only downside is most are collect only so pick a seller close

i know its quite a way from you but there is a courier service on ebay advertising to pick up tents
i have this tent and love it would highly recommend but i think mine is the 6 berth

sorry just googled your tent and its not the same, or anything like ours lol but lichfield are good .... i can only speak from experience and we love ours :o)

I have a Litchfield Vermont 6dlx   which is a similar tent

That was the day it was first pitched and was still nice and shiny, it has been much used  over the last few years and has been retired this year

 

it was my first frame tent and it was a great tent, the one thing that i did notice compared to the cabanons that i now own is that the pegging rubbers are made of a light weight bungy cord so the canvas moved about a lot more in windy weather because of the amount of stretch in the cord 

 

we camped a whole weekend where the wind was a constant 25mph with gusts over 30mph and it felt very secure and was in no danger of giving in to the weather

 

for £100.00 I would say go for it
