Thankyou for the gesture-I will arrange something with you nearer the time . I forgot to add that the hire of a static was only marginally more expensive than the price of a pitch for the week , hence no tent this time . Unfortunately for the finances, there was a rally of VW transporter campervans there that got my juices running !!
dont mention campervans, thats what hubby wants instead of tent! would be old though and not a vw! plus we would have to run it all year because cant afford two cars, vw are amazing there were loads in newquay fetch loads of money on ebay.

And if I were to recommend a replacement tent , based on what I have seen this season , the Vango Maritsa 700 is eye catching , and a natural heir to my old Aspen .
I wouldnt know where to start looking for a new tent, we had a canvas frame tent until i went to the garden center and spotted the evolva.
I did bid on fostermums canvas tent that was like the evolva but didnt go higher than £100 because we had the evolva,i didnt realise how my tent had faded, wish I had bid more now.

Polycotton will have a longer life , though exactly how long will be more down to genuine wear rather than just UV damage - but at least double that of nylon . The BL is a great tent . Have you considered going Dutch ? The exchange rate makes it even more viable if trends continue.
