We are a family of 5, having 3 children under the age of 7. This year, after squeezing in our old 4 berth tent last year, we are looking for a more roomy spacious tent. Our budget would be around £200. We like the idea of sewn in groundsheet but apart from that am fairly open to ideas. Any recommendations? Thankyou.

Anything that is at least an 8 berth! My favourite is the Vango Diablo but they don't make it anymore, sorry

How about the coleman riverside 6 - £209 - reduced from £299? 6 berth, two separate bedrooms and sewn in ground sheet.

For 5 people an 8 berth would probably be best ..

This Vango is a little over your budget at £250 but haa SIG and a good living space -

This guy has good feedback and I've seen him recommended on here. I've just ordered something from him. He alos has a Marista 700 which looks a good layout.

Stay away from ex-display tents, Dependant on weather its been put up outside it may have had its waterproof coating damaged by prolonged exposure from the sun. You may be buying a new tent next year! False economy.

hi i have used a gelert horizon 8 and now using a wynnster raven 8. the raven only cost 130.00 and accomadated 4 adults and one child easy.

I can vouch for Wynnster tents being good quality, I bought mine 9 years ago and it's still going strong, will last another 9 I think, stood up to some very strong winds too!
