Hi i'm new to camping and i was hoping someone could give me some advice on a couple of tents that i have been looking at on the internet (Outwell Hartford XXL Tent and the Sprayway Valley 8 Tent). can anyone tell me what problems they have had with either tent.
any help would be much appreciated

Many sites have pitch size restrictions and either won't accept tents over 5m wide or will charge a premium or for 2 pitches! Tents that are X or Y shaped (with pods coming off a central living area) appear to cause the most difficulties as they have such a large footprint.
Just something to bare in mind when tent hunting as paying for 2 pitches will make your breaks very expensive!!
thanks for the advice on the pitch sizes, reviews were handy but said hartford was better out of the two. i spoke to someone at yeomans and they said the sprayway was better. So confused

Sprayway isnt a yeomans brand. Peakland is. Its exactly the same company as Sprayway Clothing. So they know their outdoors :) but! They are new to the tent industry so in all hoensty i would leave them for a few seasons cus as we all know generally all early models of anything has teathing problems.
I would always, budget allowing, buy an outwell. Az im sure many people will agree. :) so my recomendation. Hartford. And you dont have the problems with double skin getting it perfectly square. Hopw this helps. X
