Hi all

I posted recently after having camping gear pinched out of garage we have now decided to buy new tent here is the problem which one to go for.

We like the frame tents made of canvas having trouble finding who manufactures them and where to look for them did find frame tents with sig but unable to find it now

any suggestions

I am sure if you have a look on the internet you will be able to find them. Oblink which is a Dutch company and ships to UK has them on their website

You may also like to think about a Pyramid tent which I personally think are better in that they are easier to put up and stand up better to in windy conditions. Again lots of different makes and types available. Oblink do some

As do Holtkamper which is called the Utopia They are not cheap though but made extremely well and environmentally friendly

If you mean traditional frame tents with steel frame, they don't have a sig, just bedroom pods that hang from frame. Not that many about now, google for makes like Cabanon(expensive) & Marechal(cheaper). Always plenty of secondhand frame tents on ebay.

There's a nice 7 berth lichfield on eBay just now (unless it's gone)

Plenty to choose from on eBay depending on how far out of Manchester you are willing to travel to pick them up.

Remember they are big an heavy to move about.

We have a Royal Rimini 6 frame tent sadly they dont make them any more. Bought it last year from OBI . It is a fantastic tent plenty of room and you can cook in them which is great There have been a few on EBay in the last few weeks going for a good price
