Hi,
Just returned from a soggy few days in Devon.
I have a Leben Hamburg tent bought earlier this year. As you suspected I would say it is more of a nine man tent than 12. The good points are: tent proved very acceptable for my family (two adults and two children) with plenty of space. The central dome has plenty of head room and is comfortable to sit in during wet weather. The bedroom pods are lower but perfectly adeqate. The ground sheet seems robust and was fully waterproof as was the tent. The tent comes with colour coded poles making erecting it very easy. The bad points: There is a gap between the fly sheet and the slightly smaller ground-sheet which did allow some water on to the grounsheet - mainly driven in by the wind. The dome shape and the position of the door meant that when opened in wet weather, water runs in. At the apex of the dome there is a fly screen which cannot be opened. This resulted in a lot of trapped flys buzzing around above our heads! The guy ropes are not high visability and cannot be seen easily in the dark.
I cannot comment on how it would perform in windy conditions as we were camped in a sheltered site. Also I cannot comnt on its longevity as we have not had it long.
Overall we found this tent was very goood value for the money.
I hope that this is of some help.
