I have seen lots of appreciation for other tents but lets hear it for KAMPA tents.

I have a Filey 6 2009 - brilliant tent. Love,Love,Love it.

Can be slightly improved. But for a company that has made tents for less than 2 years and has 98% right with design etc and the comments on this website positively endorse this tent; lets hear it for KAMPA

I think we might be buying one (Polzeath) soon.

Outwell have got the marketing right; they've been at it longer, I suppose. A lot of it is to do with that lovely pale green.

If Kampa can tap into that 'posh camping' market and find a suitably distinctive colour, they should be able to compete on equal terms!

BTW Mike, what's your scoot?

Hi Andy

Modern twisty, Vespa LXV125. The kids got me it as a surprise big six 0 birthday pressie. Pic in my profile. We'll be taking it to local camps but not Wales next two weeks, too far

I like pretending I'm off to Scarborough, circa 1966

Just come back from Shruberry in lyme regis where, every morning,  we were admiring a Kampa Polzeath which I must say looked mighty impressive

I have an '85 ETS smallframe, which is a bit like a PK but faster...

I'd be hard pushed to get a Polzeath on the back of it, though! How times change, eh?

(Sorry, hijacking this thread with scooter chat) Woohoo Kampa!

We're off tomorrow morning with our Kampa Bude 4 for a weekend for its first real outing! Practice pitched in the garden a few months back and very pleased - exceeded expectations - so not surprised some retailers have already sold out! Hopefully it will prove just as good this weekend. Car packed and ready to go, almost!

Helen

Brilliant Andy

There's a couple of scooterists on here. An old school shifty would have been very cool, but a bit old dog and new tricks for me

Keep the shiny side up !

completely new to camping and was impressed with the huge standing room (DH was, being 6' 2'')  in the Croyde 6 plus the large canopy.  Managed to get tent up at second attempt (thanks to this forum!), following the instructions to the letter was a complete waste of time!

First try out next weekend we hope.

Kampa customer service is also brilliant.  We damaged our lead for our Kampa Aquacool fridge (excellent fridge by the way - up to 40 degrees below ambient) and they sent out two replacements, free of charge - one to France (which never arrived due to our muck up with address) and one to our home.  Great company!
