I bought a mantana 6 and we used it for the first time this week when we camped at St David's on Anglesey.

As our garden is small, I couldn't pitch it before going and we had to do the cardinal sin of first pitch at site.

The tent is fab and went like a dream. The question is that my daughter pointed out that on the centre of the ground sheet of the tent, it looks like it had been patched with a few strips of what looks like groundsheet tape (same width ad duct tape). Is this normal or have I got a seconds tent? I can get a replacement if this is not normal?

Thanks

It is quite normal on Outwell tents - I think its to do with the groundsheet material being on Rolls and the tape is where 2 rolls are joined together in manufacture.

Hi,

Are they anchor points for where the inner tent clips down to.

Or do they correspond to where the adjustable straps are on the outside pegging points. You usually have one where each set of poles are.

Other than that it could be a joint in the actual SIG as the groundsheet material will only come in a certain width and so in many cases will have a joint
