Hi Gear tents are made by Gelert and "re-badged" and "styled" to Hi Gear for Go Outdoors.

I've used a Gelert tent, and they are good. You can certainly get a lot of tent for your money if you buy a Hi Gear.

Some friends recently bought a Hi-Gear Gobi 4 at Go Outdoors, and were not impressed. Took ages to put up and then broke at on their first trip. Go Outdoors wouldnt replace it as it was 'wind damage' rather than a manufacturing fault.

They look rubbish quality compared to Vango or Outwell, with puny poles and little reinforcement. The smaller ones might be fine though, as they wouldnt catch the wind like a big one.
