We bought a Relum Canaria 4 a good few years ago, and sold it to buy our trailer tent. How many times have I kicked myself for getting rid. It could stand up to anything the weather threw at it, I especially remember being battered for a whole week, one late September down in WhiteAcres, Cornwall.
Its basically a frame tent, light cream colour with orange/brown/red trim with steel poles. It had a one door opening with a ventilated kitchen area. The single bedroom was at the back, ours was plenty big enough for two, including all our kit etc. The canvas on it was excellent quality.
Depending how much they want for it, I would snatch their hand off. We went to the Codicote camping show yesterday and was surprised to see very similar new frame tents there for £400. I think they are making a bit of a come back. They last for years if properly looked after. The only draw back really is the size of them. Usually two bags, one for the poles and tuther for the tent.
This was our Canaria that we had back in the early 90s It was a good tent that got us started out camping. And believe it or not but we used to get us (2 adults + 1 dog), it, all our kit and food in the Fiat Uno also pictured!

Well, we now own a tent! It's in brilliant condition - looks like it's only been used a few times - and it's probably a sensible size for two. I'll get some pics next time it's up. A sun canopy would be nice. Hmm!
