It will fit the width perfectly, both tents being 500wide as you say its longer and will go under the bedrooms as well, no problem there other than not being able to peg the inners down.. but that wouldnt matter either as the weight of the beds and bedding holds them down anyway
The only other thing to consider is that your maritsa tapers to 320 at the front, and the salonga tapers to 400 at the front . so you'd have to tuck a triangular bit under at each side. salonga
As the salonga has an extra 2 berth inner at the front end, it would also be worth checking that this area is also covered with the carpet, not cut out, or maybe the carpet will have a hole made in it for pegging this bedroom down.
surely if you pop the carpet under the bedrooms you can't tye down the bedrroms to the floor of the tent?
Just a thought? Is that the same for all carpets if they go under the bedrooms. I am a cheap skate and using picnic mates with non slip rubber under!!!

Hi, we got the carpet and the footprint together for about £90 so it may be worth shopping around. Mind you, I am just wondering if that's because we bought them at the same time as the tent.
I do think it would be a bit weird not being able to secure the bedroom inners down so for the sake of an extra 5 or 10 pounds I'd go for the right carpet for the tent.

Singers have the carpet online at £64.99, print it and take to Go Outdoors, they'll knock of 10% so it'll be £58.49 for the right one
Thank you very much mate sorted yep you where right 58.49 i owe you 1 . Also got my self a mains kit cheap 3 sockets 20m lead 29.99 many thanks ,
There's no need to secure inners down at the front. The pegging point is just to make it look tidy. As soon as you put some kit in the inner it will sit perfectly flat on its own.
Incidentally what's with the little valance bit round the upper edges of the pods on the Maritsa? Surely all that's going to do is reduce airflow and increase condensation above the bedroom pods?

Hi Val, I think its to ensure the extra ventilation is concentrated around the sleeping pods and not blowing a gale around the main living area, which is also ventilated, seems to work quite well. Also tidies up the look a bit too. Also has the pockets built into this as well for extra storage.
