Glad to hear the trolley suits.

I did look into the four wheeled variety but I don't think they're suitable really. The lightest I found was an aluminium folding platform truck but it had small wheels , which would have been no use over kerbs or uneven ground. I think you have the most practical option. Really useful to be able to use as a chair. One less thing to take for you!

I still haven't bought one - I have about six weeks to make my mind up!

Thank-you for your helpful post! Very useful!  I am now going to show my ignorance - I don't know what a rain cap is - I guess it is something that goes on the top of the pole to stop the rain getting in where the pole goes out of the tent? 

Could anyone enlighten me? 

Also am I supposed to use the rubber tent peg ties (not sure of the right name the things that use use to attach the tent pegs to the tent double thinckness is this right?

And finally, what sort of knot do you sue to tie the string / ropes on the main body of the tent?
