Hi we were looking at the maritsa too but got very bad reviews for leaking so we moved on to the Monte Verde 900.
Dont know if its too far out for you but Norwich camping and leisure had the 700 on display about 3 weeks ago. It is a lovely roomy looking tent.
We are also considering the Vango salonga but cant find any reviews on it and no one on here has replied to me so i am guessing it is a reletively new. If you stumble across it please give me a shout.
There was a Vango Monte Verde 700 on display as John Brown's Garden Centre in Three Legged Cross, Dorset. I'd love to get one but I already have 2 tents!!

Thanks. I have seen the Monte Verde 900 on Display at Codicote and is is lovely, but Huge! So I thought the 700 would be better for us. So I just wanted to get a feel for 700 being it is 100cm shorter in width. Cant see it making that much of a difference? But then, I am an in-experienced camper!

I guess it depends on how many of you will be in the tent and how important living space is to you.
We are 2 adults and 3 children. i thinks its nice to have plenty of living space for when the good old british weather lets us down and cooking eating and playing has to be done inside!
We Too were going to buy a maritsa 700, when we went to the showroom to see it up they also had a Monte 700 up. we opted for the Monte because of the head room and overall better use of pitch space.
We have been away in it once so far and must say that for the size of the tent it is relatively easy to erect. First time took me and the wife around an hour (not bad as pitching time is 50mins).
Overall the Monte is a cracking tent loads of room, loads of doors, loads of ventalation, loads of fun.
Just used our Monte Verde 700 for the first time. It replaced an Outwell Sunvalley 8. Similar size and layout but much more stable with the steel poles. We were very happy with our new purchase :)

Hello we've purchased a Monte Verde 700 in Navy and have so far been unable to source the Footprint and carpet from any stockist. Does anyone have these for sale, or know of a secret stash of them...many thanks
