ok i have searched but can't find where it tells you the size of the poles....As the reviews on here mention poles breaking i thought i better get a few spares...other than getting the poles out the bag and taking them down to the shop how can i find out the size...
also...if one does snap can i just quickly replace it without going to the trouble of shock cording it...then cord it later when i get home?
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
The diameter of the fibreglass is the important bit as you can always shorten the pole sections with a hacksaw if needed. Measure the diameter of the pole across one end (the one without a ferrule) and also measure the diameter of the hol in the middle. Measure the section length for good measure (excuse the pun) and also the length and diamter of the ferrule. Take these to your local reputable camping shop and hey presto, i bet they find you some spares!
thanks..
sorry...i meant the diameter...
however there's only 1mm difference in the spare poles i was looking at to buy so i didn't know if my measuring would be accurate enough...surely it would be easier if Vango stated the pole diameter somewhere...
