hi all, my family and want to upgrade to a 8 man tent, we have been looking at hi gear corado 8 but have just noticed the vango amazon 8, does anyone know where we can purchase from as we think the last time this was produced was back in 2008, please please help!!!!

Hi Gibb family, there is one on ebay with carpet & footprint at 200 pounds. Think they will be quite hard to get hold of now, do you need the eight berth as this is a massive tent and you may end up paying for 2 pitches, we have recently brought a vango zanzibar 600 which is exactly the same as the amazon but polycotton & to be honest this is huge, bigger than the cabanon espace we had before.

thanks for info becci, we have only just sold our vango tigris 600 and have been looking at upgrading to the the corado 8 but stumbled on the vango amazon, but the amazon we had seen the extension sides were covered from top to bottom to give better cover from the elements.

we purchased Vango Amazon 800 last year brilliant tent, last year we had 16 people all eating fish n chips in the living area (due to bad weather !!) and we had loads of room, only downside is the front sun canopy it would be so much better if it was enclosed so you can leave your cooking equipement out etc, i am looking for a more enclosed canopy to buy this year but am struggling at the mo, would defo recommend this tent.  Happy Camping x
