I decided at the time of buying not to get the Icarus carpet, I just didn't find the material or the colour that warm or friendly, plus I'll probably upgrade to canvas if the OH enjoys camping. It seemed strong and hard wearing, but felt I might get something better if I waited and looked around.
Was that a mistake? most of the pictures I see here are of outwell (I think) carpets, which look more fleecy and colourful, so I'm hoping not!
My biggest difficulty is having to find out sizes, most retailers only say "Carpet for x tent" so it slows things down a lot trying to find a decent picture with dimensions for every tent. the Icarus is 240x315.
Is there a standard carpet everyone gets? a model that everyone just buys the Bear lake for example and folds over to make fit?

Thanks fostermum! That's the one I've been admiring everywhere else!
Thanks to everyone else for the useful future links :)
