Hi All,

Just bought this tent yesterday and I wondered for extra security if I should buy some delta pegs.

Are they compatible with this tent?

From other peoples experiences are they necessary with this tent?

I use them with any tent on the guys. You will need 10 for the 4.2. I counted the amount needed when I test pitched mine a couple of days back. Always have an extra delta spare, just in case, though ive yet to break one.

They are for the guy lines only, use standard style pegs for the edge of the tent.

thanks very much for the advice. off on our first trip next weekend to ardgartan, me and my 3 year old cant wait :-)

You'll have a great time, its a lovely tent, my lad and I are sleeping in the Base Second I bought to go with the 4.2 tonight..... in the garden! lol

I only put it up for a test pitch.... but what the heck, I cant say no on an evening like this.

We will, were taking the netbook out to watch a movie out there too. LED light hung on the convenient hanging points and sleeping bags rated to 0 degrees.... we will sure be warm enough!
