I've just been reading tent reviews and one review mentioned a Coleman being so perfect that it would be their last tent.  What happens when poles break though?  When we tried to find spare poles for our Coleman tent we could only find one outlet that sold them (and that was a couple of years ago - I doubt they still sell them now).

Love our tent, but don't have any spare poles left. 

Synthetic tents don't last forever anyway. 26 weeks of cumulative use max. So the person who owned their perfect tent will be looking for another one someday anyway.

I suppose if you really adored a tent though you could buy a second one, keep it in good storage and use it as a source of spares? A total of a years worth of camping would see you through a decade at least between the two flysheets, by which time your needs may have changed.

Having looked at your tent though I would think that you could replace your poles with another full pole of something similar, as long as you got the length right. It's just a tunnel tent with straight through poles after all...no fancy connectors or such.
