Been offered this tent plus extras, footprint, cooker and grill and work station plus portaloo only used for one week last year........£180
Deal or No Deal that is the Question???

If genuinely only used once last year , and the condition is good , it is argueably a deal , though I would still aim towards £150-probably around £350 of if new items in total.
I own the Ontario 8 and its a pretty nice tent though I did have a few niggles with ours. Is it from a friend of from an unknown vendor?
If the latter, I would ideally want to see the thing pitched but that is obviously not always easy. Theres an awful lot of fabric on that girl, and even in one week, careless use/packing or pitching could have taken its toll.
Cant comment upon price, but again, if from an unknown vendor I would always try haggling.
As important as price/ condition its worth thinking about whether you need a tent that big too? As in all things there are pro's and con's to big tents, particularly if its large size isnt really needed.
Just my opinion.

Thing to bear in mind for a festival tent is they might need to be "disposable" to a degree, so cheaper the better.
Being a tunnel tent it is pretty easy to pitch with at least on other person on hand.
Over all, if your pretty sure the Ontario is in good condition it might be a good purchase. It will certainly be massive with one end pod removed if needed!

I would try and haggle a bit with the price and then buy it!!!
Not sure if it will be good for festivals - they seem to encourage tiny little tents that you just throw away rahter than psacious family tunnel tents!!
Excellent choice for weekends or longer family breaks.
Thanks guys its for local festival in Somerset lots of larger family tents and vans, usually put u in field together. So do i go for it or buy smaller!!!!!!!!

On balance, if your as sure as you can be the tent is not damaged (still not sure who your purchasing from, can it at least be removed from bag for cursory check?) and can haggle the price a bit it would cover all possibilities certainly you wont be short of room.
