Does anyone have any suggestions for an affordable weekend tent. Ideally 3 or 4 man, easy to pitch but must fit our double (or maybe triple I can't remember but it's bloody big lol) height queen size Coleman bed in! We only want something that is easy to pitch and doesn't cost the earth. We have our vango orchy which is great but would like something slightly smaller and quicker to pitch for the weekends. Do have a litchfield that we got last year for weekends but it is just too small and doesn't fit the Coleman bed in, it fits a normal bed fine but after the luxury of the massive Coleman we can't go back lol
Thanks for your help :)

Since it's a double height bed you need something tall enough, so the Vango Icarus 500 would be a good buy. It would probably make your Orchy reduntant though.

It's only got the three poles and it's a really easy tent to pitch, the inners are preattached so no faffing about with toggles. I can get mine up in 10 minutes now and i've only used it four times so far!

Just for the extra room that you always seem to need, I'd go for the Icarus 600

another vote here for the Icarus 500 - the bedroom has a divider which we never use, its folded away & we use it as 1 large luxury bedroom, we can walk around the bed (we have a large aerobed) and can still stand upright in the bedroom area, not a lot of tents do this & mu DH is tall 6'2 - bought it last year and already had 5 trips

Ah, we were looking at the icarus 300 as a possibility. It's only a tent for two night weekend get aways and was hoping to keep below £90! What would have been nice would have been to have a full fly sheet/mesh door to the bedroom but nobody seems to do those these days. Our old royal did but all the vangos etc seem to only have the top quarter or third as a mesh bit.
Thanks for the replies :)

Have a look at the Licata 400 - lovely tent for the small family/couple/weekend breaks.
I'm a short unfit mum of 3 and can pitch it solo in about 30 minutes (including pegging out and inners)

Spacious living area, standing height, good size bedroom pod which can be divided.

Search the net and you can find it for less than £100 - Bargain!!

Has the bedroom door got a zip back bit to reveal a fly sheet/mesh door at all?

Gelert Twister / Scafell Rock Curlaway 5 would fit your bed in easily with room round all three sides. Both doors have mesh doors too.

What a shame your budget is £90.

Methinks the Outwell Virginia 5 would fit the bill, but you'd have to add another 50%.

Take a look anyway.
