glad i just found this,
my evolva (used twice) leaked on the first install because the connector in the apex (for the green and blue pole) sags against the canvas and then leaks like mad,
had to abort the holiday mid break, complained to my retailer and got fobbed of by colemans rep (apparently i set it up wrong!!) (this was aug 2008)
used the tent for a second time 2009 same problem, and still the same fob-off.
am i right to believe this is the same design fault??....

Hi duffevolva,

Sounds like the proven roof poles problem.

Lots of discussion about it on this forum and a solution was found with Coleman providing modifications to poles to overcome this. Involves returning blue pole to the manufacturer which is returned in a shortened form with some extensions to add to the green pole and two gray side poles that go into the same connector (due to the whole thing being moved backwards).

e-mail me off board at davecrisfield at talktalk.net and I will send you details which hopefully will sort problem for you.

In meantime use the search facility for Evolva Poles and you can spend hours reading the past postings.
