Hi, I have just bought a 2nd hand Relum Bungalow 4 Frame Tent. Probably around 10 years old. It does not have any instructions with it! I am not very good at working these things out. Can anyone help please? I have tried looking around on the internet, but cannot find any help and we are going camping next week. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a photo of it up? If so, you may have to lay all the poles out in the garden and figure it out like a puzzle. Make sure you have some coloured tape to mark the poles with once you have it worked out (unless the previous owners have already done that? Fingers crossed they have then it will be a bit easier!)
Hello Cathy,
Thank you for your suggestion. I found a tent like it on another website, so will try to do as you say. I just bought the tent this evening and do not know if the previous owner colour coded or not. I will check it all out tomorrow. I am beginning to think that I made a bit of a mistake, buying without asking for more information or instructions. :o/ We shall see. :o)
Measure the canvas to help you get an idea of where the poles will fit . Once you work out the roof pole lengths to fit between the the angled brackets ,then you can work out how many leg poles you need .
The leg poles may have spikes in the bottom, or perhaps a foot atachment, or maybe a blank cap on the bottom.

Then you will have the frame for the suncanopy left over.
this might have just a front A frame. or might have a centre suport pole running from front of tent fixing to the centre of the canopy poles as well.
You will also have some short poles for kitchen extension part too.

Oh dear, but sometimes we see what we want and have to go for it! It does seem to be difficult getting hold of info on Relum tents as they haven't been around for a few years. However, most frame tents do at least work on the same principles so it shouldn't be too hard to work things out.
Hey Debbie, Thanks for the helpful suggestions and the pic link. If anyone has any actual printed instructions for this particular tent, that would obviously be wonderful. If not, then I will give it my best shot.
Don't worry , you will be able to work it out. its not a huge tent, looks fairly straightforward from the photo. Once you work it out and mark the poles , it will be a doddle the next time.
when you have sorted the frame out , take a photo of it to remind yourself .

Excellent Debbie, very kind of you to take the trouble to find that. That gives me a better idea now. I have also contacted the seller and asked if they can give the winning bidder my details (I am an ebay member). You never know, they may be kind enough to copy the instructions for me, if I pay them. Not much time though .....
Thank you for help given so far. I did not get the opportunity to try this out today, but absolutely am doing it Tuesday morning ..... do not know how I will get on, but I will try and who knows, perhaps it will be logical! I'll let you know. Anyway, I will need to unpack everything and give the tent an airing.
