I've decided to have a look at some alternatives before I buy the Vango Halo I've been looking at (like the Coleman Phad for example). What stores around the Surrey/Berks/N. Hants/SW London type area have decent ranges of tents on display? I've got Camping World at Frensham Garden Centre (they don't have many Colemans) and SK Camping & Leisure in Godstone... can anyone recommend any other places I should consider?

The Camping Exhibition in wokingham is running until the 25th July and they have a very decent tent display. Not many Coleman tents but a good offering of Vango and Outwell (and others!). They also have a comprehensive offering of camping accessories, expecially Coleman kit (which really floats my boat!). A bit lacking in fridges/cool boxes/toilets this year but a very well stocked display nevertheless.

I've been looking for tent displays in roughly the same area. There's one in Wokingham on for the next couple of weeks (see post), and a Yeomans one in Winnersh just a few miles away. Also PJ camping in Hare Hatch, although they may have taken most of their tents down by now.

well i was going to say camping international in Horsham but it appears to have closed it's Horsham branch.

But they stil  have a branch in Gillingham HERE wrong area tho I know

Yep... & you can buy a door, or vist the garden centre, all in the same complex

there is a karsten tent display in the area next weekend if that helps. the last one in our area they had loads of models on display and various set ups.

Bishops green farm campsite, newbury, berks on 17th/18th july
