Hi folks, further to my first post as a newbie on which tent to buy well I still haven't bought a tent lol. Would like to thank all the folks who replied to me but still not sure what to shell out my hard earned cash on lol.
Anyway to get to the point I have seen an Adventuridge 4 berth tent for sale on the classified section of this site and I wondered if they are any good ? I am on a tight budget as I'm a single parent with a daughter at Chester University (very expensive but will be worth it lol) Not found any reviews on this tent and not sure who they are made by, the tent for sale has only been set up in the garden and the seller decided not big enough. It is a 4 pole tent 3000HH and the seller guarantees it can be erected by one person which is what I need. Would also like to know if I can stand up in it as I am 6'1".
Look forward to any help or advice.
Regards Steve

Thanks for reply, unfortunately I don't know who they are made by. I notice you have an Icarus 500 which is one of the tents I have looked at, seems to have good reviews and I need a tent I can erect alone. I did see them for sale on the Kool Kamping website for £101.99 which is cheap but I might pop to the local Go Outdoors and see if they can beat the price.
Excellent tent, the Icarus, and I really wouldn't be sure about an Aldi tent if indeed it is one.
The Icarus is 200cm high. I'm not sure of that in feet, but I suspect you'd be brushing your head. The Vango Orchy has a higher head room if you want to check it out.

I don't own the Icarus, but judging from the comments on here it is a "safe bet".
Personally, that's exactly one of the qualities I look for in a tent if possible!
There are enough vaguarities with the weather, site quality and camping neighbours as it is... so when a good tent is available at a good price I would say go for it!

Planned for next year, hopefully!
Summer Solstice wild camp.
Chilled in a Field, July.
Crantock, August. Fouth year with the fantastic Quechua Base Seconds 4.2!
..... and the odd night wild camping in my Argos 1 man tent...
We have only used the Icarus once so far. OH wanted a tent that could be used for quick getaways maybe with just one of us and the kids. It is great for the money, plenty of space for 4 and up in no time! We pitched it for the first time by instinct, as the instructions are down to the usual standard and had only got it the day before, then spent a few minutes wondering what we had missed as it was so quick and easy to erect. 2M is about 6ft 6in, so should be OK. Great excuse to go and look at a tent display.
I have just bought a Adventuridge 4 man tent and I am happy with the reviews that I have read. I will not be using the tent until the 8th August and have booked in the tamworth area. The one thing I learnt from the reviews it to take a spray can of seam sealant with me just in case. Anyway thank you for your help.
Regards Doodle 1949. I may take it away for a weekend in my Triumph Vitesse 1970 soft top

I have used a Coleman event shelter/gazebo for a few years now with my club the the Gwent MG owners club and it has always done what it says on the tin.
