I think it'd be better showing two people, spreadeagled, to show how fabulously roomy it is for two!

Hi yes, it was Forest camping in Dorset

Attwoolls in Gloucester have them as well though (not sure about the noumea)

Hi. I think this is what I'm trying to say too. The Pyramid tents have a lot going for them if they suit your style of camping, you work with them and make the most of those advantages. And then they are fab. But if you fight them and try to stock them up with oversized chairs, large tables, coffee tables, cupboards, wardrobes then it will end in tears.

Like you, we mainly use our tent for sleeping, breakfast and evening meal. It would be different if there were several small children and tended to spend a lot of time inside the tent.

Again, agreed that the Pyramids work well as modular tents with other bits easily added on eg pup tents, kitchen tents, canopies, as needed. Because the main tent is so simple to put up it really isn't an issue to stick up something else alongside for longer trips.

Over the years we've been pyramid camping I realise I have gradually re-engineered our kit to work well for both us and the tent. Also, our heads have evolved into a pointy shape.
