We are going camping at the end of august and i am completely confused about what tent to buy. We are looking at 6/8 berth and have a budget of around £200. The 2 i have looked at so far are the coleman coastline deluxe 8 and the Gelert nemisis 6 or 8. There will be 2 adults and 2 under 5's (going for a bigger one for the space)
They only other deciding factor is the size. The pitch size is 7m by 7m.
Any recomendations would be greatfully recieved
Thank you

what about a nice vango tent, for £200 you could pick up a very good tent, the coleman coastline range are not as good as vango or gelert.
vango icarus or orchy are in your price range and would serve you very well
Thanks il have a look at them. We will need a lot of space with the amount of stuff we have to cart around with 2 kids. My husband has also requested one with a porch!
As usaual I would suggest the Vango Icarus 600, you can stand up in it, it's quick and easy to pitch, there's a good amount of room, but would siggest the canopy or premium extension as well as you can never have too much space. Job done

I've just bought the hi gear kalahari 8, which was on offer for 199 last week though it may go on offer again. Tons of room, it sleeps 2+2 each side which we are opening up so we have a 4 berth bed and so do the two kids (sharing). You can also take down one inner to have massive living area!
Its the go outdoors branded version of the gelert meridian 8, which we would have got if the kalahari had not been such a good price.

We also bought the Kalahari 8 last week when it was on offer for £199. Used it for the first time this weekend and it is brilliant! We use one bedroom completely open with two double airbeds in it for myself, hubby and two kids 5 & 9 and the other bedroom we put the table and chairs in and have a dining room. We also thought of taking out the other bedroom but the carpet only fits between the two bedrooms so we leave it in.
Cant wait to go away in it again. It was lovely and warm and snug as well a standing up to really strong winds that we had on Sunday morning.
