We ust can't decide between these two. Porto Ercole
or pescara 4
This is like the impression 4 from Obelink but with aluminium poles.
Just have no idea whats more practical, the construction with tarp and windshields or the closed awning.
The main differences are sewn in groundsheet vs. zipped.
The Porto has a little bigger living room whereas rhe pescara has a closed awning. Same price, the Porto is a tad bigger and heavier.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Heinz

Thanks Angie. I think the pescara is just the same tent like the hypercamp impression with alu poles. But of course i'm not sure about this. i really would like to see the tents but Obelink is really far from us.
I think I would go for the Pescara because of the from canopy/porch area being more enclosed thus giving better usable space - especially if you have children
The smaller pack size and being lighter is probably a plus too.
Am I translating right and they are both Poly Cotton?
------------- Keely :-))

I really like the looks of the Ercole. I really would love to see how it looks pitched. I searched the web for hours but i just can't find pictures other than the one from Obelink. I just ask me if a closed awning like the impression/pescara is eventually more useful if its raining for example. The zip off groundsheet of the Ercole is a big advantage imo because it can be stored separately.

You're right, both Polycotton.
I think one would be enough though :-)
hi just thought I would give my thoughts....the canopy on the pescara looks great and I am sure you would find it really useful especially if you can shut it off....
Maybe you could find a tent in the same design done my Hypercamp as they seem to be a more trusted make...
Inmho Canopy's or porch's that can be shut off or opened are great for camping....room for tables....open or shut...shade or wind break...their usefullness is endless...
all the best choosing..it is really difficult to tell without seeing it or knowing the shop...

Hello,
Hypercamp has the same design, it's the "impression4" and it's even cheaper. But it has fibre poles. I don't want fibre poles.
