I have an Outwell Florida 6 tent 2009 model. I took it away last year but whilst away my son managed to trip and fall damaging the rooms as he grabbed them to regain balance. I need to know if there is any way that I could possibly buy just the rooms and if so where from or would I have to replace the full tent on count of this. It seems a shame as it has only been used once and I would like to be able to use it again for next year. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi there and welcome to the message boards ! I am unsure if you can buy just the plain replacment pods, but you can get the outwell kids room to replace your pod

http://www.outdoorworlddirect.co.uk/acatalog/Outwell_Florida_6_Kids_Room.html

You may want to look around for a better price, this is just an example.

My three daughters use one room so they need a full size room as opposed to a kids room, my son and his friends(teenagers) sleep in to other room so the same goes for them and me and my wife sleep in the living area and use the canopy as the cooking washing drying area and this is the reason I need to try and get the full size rooms. I do however wish to thank you for your prompt response and your input. Thank you Becci Boo p.s. That is also the nickname of one of my daughters lol.

HI SHADOW ,
How badly damaged are they ? can you not repair them ?

take them to a dressmaker if you cant sew yourself.

looking at the plan of the florida6 a kids room would seem to be the same size as one of the rooms , as there are 2 equal size bedrooms, one would have to be completely replaced by the kids room.probably the one on the right hand side looking into the tent.

As you can se they will be expensive to replace, and very difficult to get the plain inner for the other side as they don't sell them seperately and the camping shops can't order them apparently.

As a last resort you could use 2 of these inners .
they are caravan awning inner tents but are 3 berth like yours, you would have to extend the hanging elastics as they will not be as tall as the tent bedrooms .

Thank you for that as it is very useful information with regards to the awning inners. You have definitely been of more assistance than the supervisors of the store I purchased the Florida 6 from. now that I have an idea of what I need to get I might search to see if I can get hold of a slightly larger one. Once again I thank you as without your helpful input I would be still in the situation I was in before this evening 10* for your assistance.

3 berth is the biggest size they come in , but you could also look for a spare set of inners from another tent on ebay and adapt the hanging elastics .

6 , 4 and 2 berth tent inners here .

Awning 3 berth inners £14.45 each here
