Hi everyone we are off camping again soon and unfortunately I wont be able to drive (medical reason). A friend with a large vehicle has offered to drop us at the campsite and pick us up to come home. Can anybody see any problems arising from this, we will have enough food, drinks, clothes, money etc with us for the trip. Thanks

It might be a good idea to check up on the bus service near the camp site, or choose a site with a bus stop nearby. At least then you'll be able to pop to a town to pick up anything you might need or visit local attractions.
Can't see any problem . I've been doing this for years .Son or hubby drops me off with the kids and picks us up when we are ready to come home .
We tend to stay onsite most of the time , but use the bus if we need to go into the town for anything.
I wish somebody would drop me off at the campsite and pick me up again...I hate driving these days.
I usually find a site within walking distance to places of interest and leave the car on site. I recently picked up my bus pass so that will come in very handy once on site. The only problem is that many campsites don't have bus stops very close or the buses are not very frequent but every little helps.
We came across a family who'd gone camping on the train a few weeks ago.
Hats off to them- they could have so easily have stayed at home and done nothing with their children! Like others have said, pick your site accordingly and you'll be fine.
------------- Are you sure you've read the instructions?
thanks for the replies, the campsite does have a bus nearby so we should be ok.
