Peg the tent down loosey, slide in the cross section roof poles, get someone to go inside tent now and push up this crossection. On the outside put in the legs so the middle bit is now free standing and pull into position.
Once this middle bit is up the rest follows through.
You have just reminded me it will be the one pushing the cross section up soon and im only 5'5''!!!
As the nebraska was discontinued there is no video.
We put roof poles in, then legs and pull up by legs, pin poles then do bedrooms and front, takes about the same time as our Minny. Can't remember how it said to do on video but it isnt quite the same as we do it, think we tried various ways and just found way that suited us. It is a heavy tent but its fantastic!!!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Thanks for that, I don't know whether using the weekend trip which is so light and easy to put up has now made the Nebraska seem more awkward.....like I say we managed about 4 times before with relative ease, but reading these I do revall that we got the middle bit standig first and then took it from there.
Lets not mention the packing away....I think it took about 3 attempts last time as opposed to first time previously!
Packing away....lol. Not the greatest eh. Hubby rolls it rather than folds.......I just stand the other end with the bag to make sure it's sort of the correct width to go in!!!!!
Lol -Jobee, I'm always guiding the folding, rolling, squashing etc at the bag end too, saying over and over again 'it needs to be the width of the bag'.......quite often we all play roly poly up and down the tent and have pile ons to get as much air out, so if ever you do spot a mad family behaving in such a way...that's us!
