This was only IF you also bought the front extension for £75, a darn good deal nevertheless.

Expect to pay £230 for a Nevada M tent only. Out of your price range considerably, but a great tent (I would say that though wouldn't I?).

Cheaper than Outwell but still high quality you'll be looking at Vango, Gelert or similar. Don't even consider Rage, or Skandika or anything from Halfords. 

A Vango Icarus 5 man is £130 ish but you can get a six man version too. I also like the Hi Gear Zenobia 6. You'll need to spend at least £150 to get a decent 6 man tent.

I'd put Vango and Outwell on a par. In fact I've heard more issues with Outwells this year than Vangos. Someone above suggested the Icarus 500. There is currently a new one being sold by a camping shop on eBay for a bargain if you are quick £109.49

It is an excellent tent as the reviews state. They were so popular last year that they sold out early in the season. You will be able to sell it on easily if you find camping isn't for you, but it will serve you well as a weekend tent if you find you love camping and want to get a bigger tent for main holidays. You could even just add the canopy to make it do longer stays. I wouldn't spend a fortune if you are not sure that you'd like camping...

With fibreglass tunnel tents, Vango's unique TBSII internal strapping system that you clip in place in windy weather (developed from their mountain tents) gives Vango tents a big edge in the tunnel tent market. Many fibreglass tents distort scarily in moderate to high winds. The TBS reduces this and the risk of poles breaking significantly.
