Hi. I'm trying to decide between Outwell Arkansas 5 and Florida 5. The main difference between them is that "living" room in Arkansas has 2 side doors with mesh. Florida has plastic windows instead, and 2 smaller mesh windows in the front wall. Also Florida has a back door, which I don't need.
I'm mainly concerned about the ventilation. In case of wet weather in Arkansas you would close the side doors, and the only large ventilation is the front door. In Florida you can open two more mesh windows. On the other hand, if you are attacked by mosquitos, Arkansas would be better (3 large mesh doors from different sides).
Any ideas?

If it does you probably have the same....although a side door is always useful....but then again we had the Ohio Xl which has a mesh window at the front and a mesh on the back door...
The mesh window on the front was really useful when it was warm and raining...
and with the mesh on the back door there was good ventilation as well..
sorry i am not being very helpful..hope you can decide..
Just looked up both tents and watched 360 degree video of both. Not taken notice of either in the flesh. Got to say prefer the Arkansas with the 2 side doors. From the video I find the windows on the Florida too deep making it difficult to stow equipment low down. I don't understand the appeal of the back door on the Florida, if any one would care to enlighten me.
I have the Arkansas 5. The side mesh doors give a lot of ventilation as you get a through breeze which was most appreciated in Aberystwyth during witsun!
The Arkansas also has a very big door its about half the size of the front panel. Also above the windows there is ventilation and at the back of the tent there is a square mesh ventilation thingy too.
As its the first time we had the SIG didn't realise just how warm they keep the tent!

So you say there would be no problems in Arkansas during rain?

Lame question: SIG=signature?
SIG = Sewn In Groundsheet.ZIG =Zip in groundsheet
And no there shouldn't be any problems with the Arkansas during rain, saying that on a new tent you might get the odd drip coming in through a seam(easly sorted out with a tube of seam sealer)
