Hi all

we have a canvgo diablo tent for min of 7 night camping, but we're looking for a "weekend" tent.

I'm looking for one thats easy to pitch , head room (preferably) for 6ft person, SIG, undecided between:-

Vango Icarus 500

Vango Sungari 400

Vango tigris 400

or a pop up tent ! such as Quechue

Can anyone recommend any of the above, or say which is better than others.

Many thanks all

I would add the Artemis 500 to your list, has a high middle pole so is great for tall people, steel poles also give it the edge over some of the above, have used it for several outings so far this summer and find it a superb tent, nice & easy to pitch as well.

Good Luck in your search. HL

How many people will be using the tent?
As a general rule, add 2 to the number of people who will be using the tent ie: for 3 people you need to look at 5 berth tents.

We have the Licata 400 as our weekend tent which you can find for less than £90. SIG, standing height, decent sized living space, good size bedroom pod which can be divided, very quick and easy to erect. Perfect for 2 or 3 people.

Many thanks for your replies.

It will be for 2 adults and a toddler.

Ahh, I was hoping to cross some off the list not add some on, :o)

Thanks again.
