Hello,

Does anyone know much about the Outwell Wyoming? http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/preview.asp?id=1898

I was going to purchase a Wynnster or Khyam 8 person tent, but after much discussion with my OH thought that as it will be the first camping trip with our 18 month old a smaller tent might be better and one that I can put up myself.

Have been looking lots and see that the Outwell Virginia is popular. Am ideally looking for something that will take a double inflatable and a travel cot in two separate rooms.

Or do people think that a large family tunnel tent with only a few poles such wont be too difficult to put up?

Thanks again for all your help!

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

Sorry, can't help you with the wyoming, but ...

I think a medium-sized (5/6 berth) polyester tunnel tent should be doable on your own if you're tall enough, and get some tips on how to put it up.

Hi vinylmonkey

Our Outwell Wyoming was delivered this morning, so me and my partner just did a quick test pitch! Went up very quickly and easily (about 20 mins). I reckon you could put it up on your own, as long as its not too windy! Its a very simple yet strong design, just three big metal poles.

Each room is 140cm wide, same as average double mattress, so you loose the storage space in that one really. The porch bit is very spacious, for our needs. Yeomans have it on sale at the mo, with the footprint and carpet both for 50 quid.

Hope that helped a wee bit!
