Yes it does becca! lovely looking tent!

I'm waiting to see the Mayon 'in the flesh' so to speak, so I can have a real good look at it. The 19mm steel poles with joining fibreglass poles sounds like it would be very stable in adverse conditions
There's only the two of us plus Tessdog so the slightly smaller size is not an issue. I'll report back to all you Gelert fans when I do.
Will not be changing the Lokon until falls apart... which, considering the way it's wearing now, could be years yet!
I did have sunncamp vario 6 it did leak through skylights i now have gelert lokon vario 6 much better quality material its bigger and stands up to all weathers
I am currently camping in my Lokon Vario 5 and my daughter and I are loving it!! When it rained we had oodles of room! NO LEAKS!!! Just popped home as only camping round the corner and wanted to check up on the ongoing friendly arguments over Sunncamp vs Gelert. Well we say.... GELERT! GELERT! GELERT! GELERT!!!!! Back to camp now! Last night for me Hubby takes over tomorrow. Happy discussions!
Well it's now 2008 and for the past few days and nights I have ignored him indoors and have been trawling the internet for that tent that ticks the boxes - and guess what I've decided on?
Your right give that contestant a prize - the GELERT LOKON VARIO 5.
Since it's only the two of us I reckon we only need the LV5 or could you advice better.
Great decision!! I noticed that my post was back in 2005! Well our Lokon Vario is still going well and stood up to the awful summer we had last year. We have now added the porch which is good for keeping the rain and wind from coming directly at the door, and also invested in Holdon eyelets to pin down the skirt around the base of the tent (now we are really cosy but also still have the ventilation). We love our tent and have no intention of changing it until it falls apart and then.,.... we will buy another Lokon!!!
Have fun!!
I love the LV6 but couldn't cope without a SIG or ZIG, has it been updated? What's the rising groundsheet like? Does it keep out bugs and drafts? Can you see grass or is it a snug fit?
Thanks
