Just bought an Icarus 500 (£115) Canopy (£40) Footprint (£20) and Carpet (£29) and will be using it near Windermere in august as a test for taking my 2 year old camping (cannot wait as it will probably be hilarious).
I understand that the inner tent (bedroom) is separate and needs attaching once erected, but can I leave this attached when packing it away or should I unclip again before rolling it up and (hopefully) getting it back in the bag. not been able to do a test erection yet as it is peeing down.
Oh and can anyone tell me the full footprint with canopy as the Vango site doesn't give the dimensions.
Thanks.

On the Icarus the inner is already attached, and in fact can't be taken out as you'll find when you get it pitched.
I can't help you with your second question as I took my Icarus plus extension down at 7am this morning before rushing off to catch the ferry at Liverpool!
hi just come home from our maiden trip and bedrooms def attached and unremovable. Great prices on the canopy and carpet, please may I ask where you bought them, have fun
