Hi,
Has anyone had any experience of the make 'Ultracamp' if so would appreciate anyone info please...

Just had alook , it seems me that they look the same as ultrafit , maybe had a name change . Not the best tents in the world, cheap and cheerful.
We had a 12 man dome one years ago. It was okay as a starter tent. Our boys were teenagers and they and a couple of mates bought it between them for £100.
It had a gap around the bottom ,so was a bit draughty, it also had no windows , but it was very cheap, they had quite a few weekends out of it before it ripped at the seams.
on the other hand, it stood up to strong winds, it didnt leak , and never had any split poles .

Please whatever you do, DO NOT buy one of these tents, they are TERRIBLE.
I should've known what to expect getting a six man tent for under £100, but it really was bad.
From the moment we got it out of the bag and put it up in the garden we knew we'd bought a dud. Poorly constructed with loose threads all over the place, thin canvas that looked like it wouldn't stop water, awkward shape which doesn't utilise the space inside at all well, and just as really nasty, cheap look to it.
We decided against sending it straight back though and gave it a chance on a trip to Derbyshire last weekend.
The weather wasn't great, but it wasn't particularly bad either. After taking ages to erect owing to all the guy ropes needing tying to the tent and the poles being very tight to fit into the sleeves, it was pretty clear the structure was unstable due to the poles being very puny and there not being anywhere near enough places to attach guy ropes.
Our worst fears were realised when a slight gust of wind buckled the back end of the tent and the roof collapsed in on us on the first day. This happened two more times before I decided enough was enough and made my own holes for some extra guy ropes and tied them to a nearby tree.
On the second night though even this wasn't enough as it rained heavily and the combined effect of water and wind caused one of the guy ropes to break and the tent to collapse again, this time showering us with water too.
On the final day we took it down and noticed that the buckling pole had actually completely shattered along the entire length in two places and this in turn had ripped large holes in the sleeving of the canvas.
Fortunately we were able to get our money back on this joke of a tent, but please do not waste any of your own.
